Design system
Moving from Photoshop (what?!) to Figma
When I started at Siemplify, my manager and I were designing the platform’s interface in Photoshop. Realizing this wasn’t sustainable, we transitioned our work to Figma. Since everything had to be built from scratch, we seized the opportunity to create a design system from the ground up, ensuring a cohesive and efficient process from the start.

We defined Siemplify's typography, colors, and UI components for the first time.

Light theme Organizing the platform’s colors enabled a new light theme’s develoment
Shortly after we had our design system live, I started working on Siemplify’s light theme.
I created a color mapping logic and used it to test new color that would work for the light theme.

After choosing the colors, I tested them on all Siemplify’s screens and compared them to their dark version, to make sure the focus and hierarchies of the pages have stayed the same.
